Autumn quarter was a time of rapid friendship creation and abandonment.  I knew very few people at the beginning, so anyone who seemed nice I was eager to get to know better.

Winter quarter was different.  I had established a pretty strong community with Terry 5, but during Winter quarter I found myself developing friendships based more on common interest, which in turn led to deeper and more stimulating conversations.
